System, Help! I Refuse To Follow the Plot

After clicking an ad for a mini game, Song Anli suddenly wakes up inside the world of a melodramatic Chinese phone drama. A mysterious “system” she nicknames Tuzi informs her that she has become the story’s neglected wealthy wife—a woman destined to spend the plot chasing after her cold husband, Wang Weijie, while being humiliated by his mistress, Chen Xuemei. Anli’s response is simple: She wants a divorce. Instead of begging for her husband’s attention, Anli decides to enjoy the money, protect herself and her cat Xiaobai, and escape the miserable ending written for her. Better yet, if Xuemei wants Wang Weijie so badly, Anli is more than happy to help them get together. Unfortunately for Tuzi, Anli’s refusal to follow the script sends the entire story off course. Important scenes fail to happen, characters begin behaving differently, and every attempt to force the original plot back into place only gives Anli another opportunity to break it. Armed with money, common sense, and absolutely no desire to win back the male lead, Song Anli has one goal: Get divorced, get rich, and survive the drama on her own terms.
