The InkSoar guide
Reading and publishing on InkSoar
InkSoar is a home for original web fiction. Readers can discover stories across fantasy, progression, romance, horror, science fiction, and more; authors can publish serial fiction while keeping ownership of their work.
For readers
Browse by genre and story tags, use the Novel Blend to find work outside the largest categories, and save stories to your library. Ratings, recommendations, follows, and chapter thanks help readers recognize the stories that are connecting with people.
Content-warning tags are shown before you begin a novel. You can use them to make an informed choice or hide warnings in your own reader settings.
Discover storiesFor authors
Publish only work you created or have permission to publish. You keep ownership of your original writing. InkSoar receives only the limited permission needed to host, display, distribute, and promote your work while it is published on the service.
Every new novel begins with an information and first-chapter review. Once approved, you can publish later chapters through Author Studio. You may edit or remove your work from your account.
Open Author StudioHow discovery works
InkSoar is designed to avoid a single genre taking over discovery. Featured stories rotate, Hidden Gems focuses on smaller stories with strong reader signals, and Novel Blend gives several genres a regular place on the homepage.
Staff selections are separate from popularity rankings. Accurate genres, tags, status, and content notes help readers find a story that suits them.
