What would it take to change a man? What more to push him beyond his limits? "I should have chosen a different career." Reinhardt was on his way from tolerating another day at work, eager to see the light of his day, his girlfriend and daughter, when an Intergalactic System appeared out of nowhere, drafting almost four billion people to prepare them for Earth's Doomsday at the hands of cosmic corruption. Reinhardt was one of those people, forced to survive in a world that's already corrupted. Separated from the two people he would do anything to protect, he only had one reason to survive: To get back home. Yet survival demanded more than just conviction. He had to trust powers he didn't understand. Rely on people he never asked to lead. Protect lives while taking others. Kill monsters, kill humans, but most importantly, parts of himself that his survival demands he lose. It could be his humanity. It could be his faith. Only time would tell which of the two he would lose, but one certainly had to go if he wanted to be able survive horrors, fight gods, and traverse the cosmos. All so he could go home to his family.
